Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StaffWithMe website and services. By booking staffing services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

StaffWithMe provides temporary event staffing services, including but not limited to:

  • Brand ambassadors and promotional models
  • Bartenders, servers, and hospitality staff
  • Convention and trade show staff
  • Production assistants and event setup crews
  • Registration and check-in personnel
  • Experiential marketing talent

All staff are W-2 employees of StaffWithMe, fully insured, background-checked, and trained according to industry standards.

2. Booking and Cancellation

Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed once you receive a written confirmation (email or signed agreement) from StaffWithMe. Verbal agreements are not binding. All bookings require a signed service agreement and a 50% deposit.

Cancellation Policy

  • 30+ days before event: Full refund of deposit
  • 15-29 days before event: 50% of deposit refunded
  • 7-14 days before event: 25% of deposit refunded
  • Less than 7 days: No refund; full payment due

Rescheduling

Events may be rescheduled once at no additional charge if requested 14+ days in advance, subject to staff availability.

3. Payment Terms

  • A 50% deposit is required upon booking confirmation
  • The remaining balance is due 7 business days before the event date
  • For recurring or multi-day events, custom payment schedules may be arranged
  • We accept credit cards, ACH transfers, and corporate purchase orders (approved accounts only)
  • Late payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly interest charge
  • Overtime (beyond confirmed hours) is billed at 1.5x the standard rate

4. Staff Conduct and Performance

StaffWithMe is committed to providing professional, trained staff. We guarantee:

  • All staff arrive in appropriate attire as specified in the booking agreement
  • Staff are punctual โ€” arriving 15 minutes before the scheduled start time
  • Backup staff are on standby for events of 10+ personnel
  • A dedicated event manager is provided for bookings of 15+ staff

If you are unsatisfied with a staff member's performance, notify our on-site manager or operations team immediately. We will arrange a replacement when feasible.

5. Liability and Indemnification

StaffWithMe maintains $5,000,000 in general liability insurance and $1,000,000 in workers' compensation coverage.

  • We are responsible for the conduct of our staff while performing assigned duties
  • We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our control (force majeure)
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific event in question
  • Client agrees to indemnify StaffWithMe against claims arising from unsafe working conditions or client negligence

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the StaffWithMe website is the intellectual property of StaffWithMe and may not be reproduced without written consent. Photos and videos captured at events may be used for marketing purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing prior to the event.

7. Confidentiality

StaffWithMe and its staff will maintain the confidentiality of all client information, trade secrets, and proprietary event details. We are happy to execute NDAs upon request.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any legal action related to these Terms shall be filed in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to:

  1. First attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation
  2. If unresolved within 30 days, submit to mediation in Los Angeles, CA
  3. If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the AAA

10. Modifications

StaffWithMe reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active clients and posted on our website.
